The IEI Civil Engineering Laboratory is established in year 2015 to facilitate the public and private agencies involved in civil engineering construction work for required material testing leading to required quality assurance based on market demand and to be competitive in market Institute of Engineer joined hands with Advanced Engineering & Consultancy Services, Dehradun, who has highly qualified and experience professionals in the Quality Control & Quality Assurance field to run the laboratory. A Technical committee (referred as IEI Committee) was also formed by Institution of Engineers comprises highly experienced retired senior engineers who monitor the technical aspects of the laboratory and advise to update its facilities based on advancement in testing facilities.
